Too many games, not enough time

Let's see... Agarest Senki 1 - stuck at 3rd generation, Agarest Senki Zero - start of 2nd generation, Agarest Senki 2 untouched. There are still games that needs clearing for a 2nd time, Tales of Vesperia, Ar Tonelico 3. For the time being I've finished Tales of Graces F and started with my 2nd playthrough. Haha, damage x 5, critical x 2 and exp x 5 ought to make a fast and dangerous round

Graces F without a doubt has my vote for best Tales battle system. The Style Shift LMBS (linear motion battle system) means each character has 2 styles of fighting. Asbel can fight with his sword sheathed or drawn, Hubert can either use his double sword or dual guns. Around Step makes battles faster paced, instead of just attacking from the front, you sidestep and evade the attack, move to the enemy's back and backstab. Unlike the Wii version, Graces F is in HD with better and clearer graphics, an after story scenario with downloadable contents (No Miku costume for asia PSN it seems)

Watched Nanoha The Movie 1st. That was a great 2 hours! As a fan of the Nanoha series (I missed Strikers though) a remake of the original Nanoha season 1 was too good to pass up. With a slightly modified story, slight changes in the barrier jacket design and better animated aerial magical battles that can make other animes pale in comparison (the movie version of Starlight Breaker literally had enough power to blow up a city, and Nanoha is just 9 years old) Here's to hoping Nanoha the Movie 2nd will be just as awesome. A final note, Fate's final scene with Nanoha was so lovey-dovey.

Anime MM! Mio-sempai is just adorable even with her super S aura. Lots of laughs but story was pretty poor, and the lack of character development didn't help. Seiyuus Taketsuna Ayana and Fukuyama Jun saved the series for me.

Eroge Sangoku Hime. After Sengoku Hime, the makers probably realized that they weren't content with gender bending the Sengoku generals so they went bended the three kingdoms generals. While it's been done before (cough cough Koihime Musou) I didn't really enjoy the slow pace of Sengoku Hime or the artstyle of the PC ver (The PSP was better but too much politics involved) Give me a Sengoku Rance system and I'd be more than happy

Tales of Xillia announced for the PS3. The game that celebrates the 15th anniversary of Tales of series. Male lead seems to be drawn by Fujishima Kosuke and female lead is drawn by Inomata Mutsumi. Trailer on the main side doesn't exactly look that interesting yet but I'll give it time

Finally a new trailer for Blade & Soul. Still looks pretty darn good if I must say. A new class Assassin is shown as well as new things regarding the other classes

TERA The Exiled Realm of Arborea, another Korean MMO. I swear the Koreans make real nice looking games, whether it's the characters, the the weapons or armor. The only problem is the number of hours you have to invest in levelling

Playing Record of Agarest War now, it does show its age graphically but the character artwork is beautiful (usually the girls), battle system is typical of Idea Factory so gamers who have played Spectral Souls etc should feel right at home.

Shin Sangoku Musou 6 and Sengoku Musou 3 Z coming out for the PS3. The new Sangoku seems to be utilizing the Multi Raid game system where anyone can use any weapons. Costumes also seem rather modern. I see a little bit of Saber with regards to one of the new girls. Playing Disgaea 3 and Fsist of the North Star while waiting for my copy of Agarest Senki 2 to arrive

Long while since I actually updated. Let's say I've been busy with games... ACE:R, Sengoku Basara 3, White Album, Disgaea 3 and now Chou Jigen Game Neptune or also known as Hyper Dimension Neptune.

Opening is sung by fripSide's Nao which sounds decent enough. The character designs are pretty neat but the battle system is somewhat lacking (better than Ar Tonelico 3 anyday)

Hyakka Ryoran Samurai Girls. Let's see unique female designs. Check. Girls with damn nice bodies. Check. Fanservice. Check. Nudity but not shown on tv. Check. Boobs. Check. Ass. Check. Yea, it'll belong in the same category as Sekirei and Ikkitousen. But of course, it's not just fanservice, fight sequences during the first episode weren't too bad the the unique art direction (the style used for Street Fighter 4 opening comes to mind) is rather refreshing

The "Let's ogle and choose which girl has the nicest looking body" ending. I'm reminded of Queen's Blade. I'm liking the designs for Juubei, Sen, Matabei and Kanetsugu and that blonde french girl whose name escapes me. Still a cute song

K-ON!! Second Ending NO, Thank You! with Hikasa Yoko on vocals. As usual, Mio always gets the spotlight during the ending. Clothing and hairstyles are done pretty nicely, Ritsu should keep her hair down and Yui should use her ED hairstyle

Been busy...

Been busy playing Sengoku Basara 3. Went through story mode once and found Masamune and Mitsunari extremely fun to play. Maybe their style suits my play. Mitsunari is one insanely fast demon. Guarding after attacking cancels his after attacking recovery time and he's able to cancel his startup animations by sidestepping/strafing. Masamune's 1 sword 6 claws style makes him perfect for crowd control and boss fights. In his words: 独眼竜は伊達じゃない. You See?

Big Tales of news! 3 Tales of games are coming out. One is Tales of Graces F for the PS3, the other is an unknown title also for the PS3, the last is Tales of the World Radiant Mythology 3

Radiant Mythology 3 for the PSP. This time round Kannono is voiced by Hirano Aya (Oh No!!) Ito Kanae did Kannono in 2 if I recall. I wonder what new changes they added for your custom character, maybe new classes hehe. Asbel for Tales of Graces also makes his debut. Hope he's not gimped/nerfed like Vesperia's Yuri who appeared in RM2

Her third time appearing, her comments and actions are really amusing. And she actually pretty beautiful, good singing voice too.

Next week's show has Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi Ookami Ryouko's seiyuu Ito Shizuka. Then I think there's some game coverage on Sengoku Basara 3. Only problem is you probably won't understand it unless you have a decent command or are used to hearing japanese

Idolmaster 2 for the Xbox 360. Some changes here and there, you choose 3 girls to as a unit to produce with the Project Fairy (Takane, Hibiki and Miki) as selectable girls.

Image changes for most girls with some size changes. Hibiki's BWH went down? Visually, Makoto, Ami/Mami, Miki, Iori and Asuza seemed to have changed plenty

Alter's Fate Testarossa -Phantom Minds-. Big with a huge price tag. I'm somewhat beginning to regret pre-ordering it. It's at least 42cm tall and at max size it's 55cm O_O WHAT KIND OF 1/7 SCALE FIGURE GOES UP TO 55cm TALL!!!

Transformers War for Cybertron

The intro movie. Currently devoting my free time to getting more trophies for the game. While Peter Cullen remains the voice for Optimus, Megatron feels weird because it's not the voice I remembered. Soundwave however still sounds the way everyone remembers. Designs-wise it remains rather faithful to original series, but seems like they changed some voices here and there. Bumblebee seems to have the same guy who did Nero in Devil May Cry 4

2 story campaigns, Decepticons and Autobots with 5 stages per side. 1 stage is devoted to flying units while the other 4 are your known land based units. For Decepticons, the main team is usually Megatron, Soundwave and Breakdown while Brawl and Barricade playable for 1 stage. Your flying Decepticons are Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp. For Autobots, the main team is usually Optimus (who becomes Optimus Prime for story reasons) Bumblebee and Ironhide, which Ratchet, Sideswipe and Warpath playable for 1 stage. Flying Autobots are Jetfire, Silverbolt and Air Raid. It's simply a third person shooter with transforming robots. You mow down enemies in your way, activate stuff, kill more enemies and fight with bosses, all the while geting new guns, reloading ammo and refilling health

Since it takes places in Cybertron, there's more room to play around with the story and creating a 3d world of Cybertron. You get a glimpse of the Autobot capital Iacon while Megatron is attacking the city or the Decepticon city of Kaon when Optimus and co. infiltrate it to find Zeta Prime. Personally I'm enjoying the game a lot even after clearing hard mode

Blaze Processor equipped. Fire dmg and resistance goes up but cold dmg and resistance goes down. Processor? Clock Frequency? Memory? Heat? Guess they're serious about this bishoujo console girls

Maid Processor. Moe? Moe!! The wing parts are really done nicely

Grand Processor. Earth related stats goes up but wind goes down. Speed and agility goes down but attack or dmg goes up, I recall reading

Cold Processor. Love the ice wings. As usual, ice goes up but fire goes down (the opposite of Blaze). You also have the option of mixing the Processor parts to get the best effect though you'd look like some walking wardrobe disaster
