2nd Super Robot Wars OG
Up since friday, but I was busy with inFamous and Alice: Madness Returns. The animations, the new awesome camera angles. Point of interest is the new, sharper and clearer cut-ins and sprites. My favorite parts were Ariel and the Flickerei Geist using Revolving Stake, Cliana in the Blanc Neige purging the hands and docking with the new guns on the hand. Best parts were Joshua and Aile Chevalier using Cypher Sword and Kyosuke and Alteisen Reise using Revolving Bunker. The use of cockpit cut-ins, dynamic angles made me very impressed with the first PS SRW (Impact still wasn't so revolutionary as the first PS2 SRW game). One thing I just noticed is that the background zooms by much faster when the units are dashing or moving at high speed, very apparent when Alt uses the thrusters and boosters on the back of his unit. Another 3 months of waiting and the new PV should be more complete, with more of our favorite characters and units shown
EDIT: changed youtube video to a higher quality version, that also cuts off the 2nd half that promotes the inspectors series

Idols - Miku and IM@S
Imai Asami performing Nemuri Hime from Idolm@ster 2. Great voice and control, she's still the main reason why I still try to keep up to date with Idolm@ster. Might want to get, but I heard it's got a hefty price tag

Miku Thanks Gving Day concert is out on DVD, Blue-ray. Damn can't believe my info-net didn't pick this up. I heard about one coming out but I didn't expect it to be out since 4th quarter last year
Now performing, with costume changes (it's called modules in the Project Diva games), live band performing the music and with Miku singing and dancing. Definitely much much better than the performance they showed at AFA. On closer inspection, it seems that a screen is used to project Miku, not some hologram. Well a project screen big enough to her to move around and dance. The movements and dance steps are real enough to make me believe that she's really performing instead of a virtual idol
Due to my currently obsessive playing schedule, I also didn't notice until this week that Miku is performing at LA

Danceroid girls... hey, I remember one of the girls who did the dance for Luka Luka Night Fever, Aikawa Kozue. Her dance was pretty spot-on and fluid
Aikawa Kozue dancing Luka Luka Night Fever. 2nd one is a dance battle of west vs east. As the original dance choreographer for the song, her moves look much better. Kozue gets point for control, precision and cuteness, the other ones the sexiness one. Back to the Miku LA concert topic, why does Japan and US get all the nice events... oh well, at least Singapore gets AFA, I shouldn't be really complaining so much
Asura's Wrath Trailers
New Capcom game that kind of brings action games to the next level... basically enemies bigger than a planet that try to finger and poke you to death. Having high hopes regarding the game
Another planet sized boss that tries to finger our Asura
A boss fight video. I am reminded of why Dragon Ball was so awesome back then

ブラック★ロックシューター THE GAME OP / Black★Rock Shooter The Game OP
Animation by ufotable. Sakamoto Maaya does the voice for Black Rock and Sawashiro Miyuki does Gray. Opening is No Scared by One OK Rock. Let's see, nice song and animations' much better than that OVA which was somewhat of a letdown. After months of waiting without news, the game looks like it ought to be interesting, maybe it'll play similar to 3rd Birthday?
EDIT: REALLY nice bike and plane, the apostles all have rather nice designs, as expected of huke
A HD 720 version of the same video on nico nico: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm14702583

E3
It's a fight between Sony's Playstation Vita and Nintendo's Wii U. Vanillaware is making a new side scrolling game, Dragon's Crown that really reminds me of the old Dungeon and Dragons game for the arcade. The new Devil May Cry seems somewhat lackluster. Prototype 2, Blazblue Continuum Shift 2 for the Vita, a new Tomb Raider game, a Shin Sangoku Musou game for the Vita, a new Zelda game, Dark Souls...
After Odin's Sphere for the PS2 and Oboro Muramasa for the Wii, Vanillaware still retains their unique art style and music. PS3 and Vita can co-op together apparently. The trailer seems rather interesting, although the proportions of the amazon and sorceress are rather amusing (giant tits and asses)

Shikata Akiko's new CD voice blog
Her talking voice is pretty nice to listen to. I feel healed just listening to her voice, just like her music. Somehow I'm reminded of Noto Mamiko, at times it feels like Mamiko-sama is talking instead, lol
