Gust 20th Anniversary + Shin Atelier Rorona + Atelier Escha & Logy anime announcment + Ar nosurge OP

At 16:10 we get a look at the Atelier Escha Logy anime teaser

At 18:55 we are introduced to Ar nosurge's director Tsuchiya Akira and Ion's seiyuu Kakuma Ai. 

At 21:35 we get to see the opening video of Ar nosurge with no doubt Shikata Akiko on vocals. Felt vibes of Ar Tonelico's Utau Oka and Ciel nosurge's Uta Naki Oka e. I got this feeling that the robot in there is you (the player in Ciel nosurge who interacts with her). The limited edition Agent Pack also comes with a music box

Currently the vocals announced for Ar nosurge are Shikata Akiko (obviously since she's considered the vocal for Tsuchiya's games) and Nanjo Yoshino. What I didn't know is that Nanjo is also the vocals for the group fripSide. I'm hoping its a matter of time before Shimotsuki Haruka and Mitose Noriko are confirmed

My experiences with Gust games most likely started with the Atelier Iris series. While I didn't finish the first Iris game, I enjoyed Iris 2 and 3. After that it was Arland series: Rorona, Totori and Meruru and Atelier Ayesha. Still haven't got around to buying Escha and Logy yet

The future for Gust seems to be looking good, with Okamoto and his Atelier series games and Tsuchiya with his surge concerto series on the other end. While the music for gust games are great to listen to, I'm totally drawn in by the futuristic and magical world created by Tsuchiya and the unique music style that he and Shikata (and anyone associated with Ar Tonelico and surge concerto music) bring into the game industry. Please continue to make great and unique games for us gamers out there!

2nd playthrough Persona 4 Golden

So yeah, I've put off finishing P4G for a very long time. I decided to finish it after getting through my 2nd playthrough of Persona 3 Portable. Of course a maxed out commu/social link for the female main character. As the lover I chose Akihiko (I mean you got a choice between Aki, Shinji who either ___ or goes into a ___ when you max out his commu, and the shota Ken). The max commu reward, Orpheus Kai max be cool and all but I prefer sticking to my Beelzubub/Lucifer (star) with all the 4 maha___dyne for shadow killing.

So I'm currently aiming for a max commu playthrough for my 2nd P4G with the true end route. I miss the ability to carry over equipment from P3P. Least personas are much cheaper to summon, 50-60k gold for a lvl 88 Alice in P4 compared to 300k gold for a lvl 99 Alice

That and I added my JP PSN trophy card to the top of the blog. Well trophy progress is strictly only for my Vita games, my PS3 trophy progress is much better though I haven't been playing much of it, I really should get around to finishing my 2nd playthroughs of my Tales of games (Vesperia, Graces F, Xillia, Xillia 2 1st play). Can't wait to get my hands on Fairy Fencer F for PS3 and Neptune Rebirth for PSV

 My first SSR card. I probably spent 4000-5000 ameba coins just to get 3 out of 4 cards. Personally defeating the super rare enemies without letting them escape isn't that easy especially when they're like lvl 40+ with 50 million hp and an increase of around +2 million hp level up

The water survival gacha series. This series gacha without a doubt shows off the most "skin"? The beach/pool series one at least shows the girls in their swimwear but the water survival has them in drenched uniforms. 

Currently waiting for 3 more days to get my SR after school Kokomi card from continuous daily logging. I missed one day and it reset, otherwise I'd be at 130-140+ consecutive days

A short Kojuro gameplay movie. As usual, Kojuro's theme is still one of the best in Basara. Looks like character introduction is done at the beginning of the stage and Kojuro retains his skills that were present in Utage. The double basara move also seems pretty impressive

Frendalia & Summoners Ring

Another new japanese mobile game that I'm hooked on. Free to play, cute and customisable avatars, and some rather cute monsters that you can use and level up. Its purely co-op, so players have to work together to defeat the monsters. Gacha is strictly limited for your character's equipment. HR seems to be the highest grade and it has the usual combine to make the equips more powerful and you can level them up. Game is pretty simple to play and understand. Having lots of friends helps in the events, where you need to clear the dungeons within a week or so. Was rather tempted to make a cute female avatar but having a male name kinda makes it awkward. But the guys seem to look pretty ok

Busy with mobile games (ガールフレンド(仮) & 戦国武将姫MURAMASA), PS3 and PSVita gathering dust lol

So since changing my phone from Windows 7.5 to Android, I've been hooked to my phone and tablet playing mobile games. No not games like Dungeon Hunter 4 or those Montezuma puzzle type games, but more like those card mobile games that Japan has available. 

First up is ガールフレンド(仮)  which is Girlfriend (tentative) lol
Its a free game so you can login using a facebook account. Signup and choose a side: Sweet, Cool and Pop. Which one you align with changes specific treasure cards and your avatar. Your job is pretty much to get cards, level them up, evolve them and make them more powerful. Get better cards and join a club (similar to a guild, but since this is a school setting) and do weekly events and hope you get high rarity cards from the cupid tickets. Card ranks are from lowest to highest: Normal (N), High normal (HN), Rare (R), High rare (HR), S rare (SR), SS rare (SSR) and legend. Never seen a legend one before so I can't comment. Obviously the higher the rarity, the harder it is to get them. Doesn't help that prizes for events are high rarity cards, which are usually hard to get as it goes to the high level users with their powerful cards. So I'm stuck getting R and HR most of the time
The main selling point I would definitely say is the cute girls. Second would be the japanese female seiyuu cast. Part of the seiyuu list taken from the google play store:

Up next is uh...  Muramasa
All the Sengoku chars are female, but with pretty much the same card system as Girlfriend. Choose an alignment, get better cards and level/evolve them. Card rarity are also pretty much similar: N, HN, R, HR, SR, SSR and MR. From a personal experience, better cards are harder to get in here, and the max cards you can carry is kinda low, I'm always near full house and i got easily 10+ rare cards in my present box which I got from events. Joining a guild with players that play often helps with events since there's a guild ranking for weekly events. While Girlfriend has mostly cute girls, the ones from Muramasa range from cute to cool to somewhat erotic [the alignment you can choose is 愛 (Love), 凛 (Rin: can mean dignified) and 艶 (En: can mean enchanting)]

Weekly events and daily login bonuses are some of the plus things and one of the reasons I go in everyday. Thanks to these 2 games and the events, I'm too busy to make much progress in Guild Wars 2 and Summon Night 5 for PSP

Seiyuus and thier LOL remarks

Things like mispronouncing kanji, saying the wrong english words etc. The good thing is at least you can read what they're saying but unless you got so-so grasp of japanese. At least it's amusing to watch and hear

The baka-test part was no doubt the best. Shimono's just damn funny with his english and Harada's comments made me laugh non stop

A Fukuyama Jun special. Most of them are basically him and his dajare while Koshimizu Ami ignores (スルー) his dajares. Amusing though, with him playing around with words

Nothing that really stands out, other than the Kugimiya being cute

Yozakura Quartet: Fukuen's "みんな言えないじゃん！！" . Mako's one was also amusing with one letter off. The Kugimiya and Hino pairing are always nice to listen to, Yukachi's "おチチ...食べやすい"
