God Eater Promotional Anime Video

10 minutes of animated glory. Animation seems to have been done by ufotable (also did Kara no Kyokai) Shiina Go's music is pretty cool, especially when the familiar battle theme and the Jinki team of Rindou, Tsubaki and Soma jump from the helicopter and proceed to slaughter the Aragami. Can't wait for the game to come!!

It seems it's based on the Gothic Lolita costume that Mio was wearing during the ED of the anime. Hah! About time, there are a few Mio figures being made but none had her in the GL outfit

Take for example, was yea ra. The first three words are Emotion Sounds.

(first word: degree) (second word: nature (third word: desirability)

The first word is describes the degree of the singer's emotion. The second word describes the emotions conveyed. The third word describes how desirable how singer finds the emotion

Was means very much

yea means happy

ra means I want this to continue

Overall, it can mean I wasnt this happiness to continue. Of course, the direct translation of the word and how the whole sentence is translated can be rather different

There are some songs that have the usual Ar Tonelico feel and some new songs that go in another direction. After listening to it, I'm actually more tempted to get the cds. KOKIA's song samples are pretty awesome, Shikata Akiko and Mitose Noriko still sound good no matter the song

So purging makes them stronger in the gaming sense, but this feels like some perverted strip mahjong game

Tales of Graces PV4

Damn, being a Tales of fan I'd really like to play Graces except no Wii X_X They've really changed the battle system, made it faster, better. The SS-LMBS (Style Shift Linear Motion Battle System) sounds good, having 2 different playing styles. Chain Calibur is also in which would mean better and longer combos, without the need to do your moves in a certain order. Around Step (Sidestep) is also nice and Charachange is also a nice function, when Ai doesn't do what you want them to do. It seems like the new Tales games characters can all fight close range and use magic/long range skills. Eh?! Asbel doesn't have magic or ranged skills? I'm sure he gets something like Majinken or Souhajin. Here's hoping for a PS3 port for Graces. Ah, the battle system gets more and more interesting each game

Kotobukiya Elwing figure

Such a beautiful piece of art. Hard to believe it's Kotobukiya quality. Recently, the quality has been rising lately, such as Sengoku Rance Shiru figures. I'm happy, since their previous Shining Tears/Shining Wind figures lacked detail that I look for in figures.

Eh, it seems to be scale 1/5 but the Bukiya Elwing on the right is around 21cm. Which means the new one is say around 40cm and above. Price-wise I'd say 13,000yen or so

This is going to suck, BAD. I mean, look at all fighting games being made into movies, Street Fighter, Dead of Alive etc. I'm going to avoid this like the plague

God Eater

For the PSP, God Eater seems highly possible to be a Monster Hunter killer. Well, it's no surprise they're probably often compared to each other but there are some points that makes me lean towards GE.

Point 1: On-the-fly weapon switching. Your weapon (Shinki) has 3 forms: sword, gun and devour. Sword has 3 forms, gun has 3 forms. Each form has difference in attack speed and recovery amd damage. Devour form lets you power up for a short period of time and lets you use special bullets. Since the story characters are stuck to one form with the exception of Arisa, you've got to fill in the roles lacking in the party

Point 2: Go Shiina = Awesome music. Liste to BGM2 at the official site, or the short music clips under Special. I took notice of Go Shiina after I played Tales of Legendia. It was new, unique and very different compared to the other Tales games done by Sakuraba Motoi

Point 3: Multiplayer. Sidestep. Dash. Sakamato Maaya (LOL) as Arisa, Sunohara ( I mean Sakaguchi Daisuke)
