SRW Z 2 PV, B★RS Game PV

Shin Mazinger looks awesome, so does Getter Robo Armageddon. Gurren Lagann, Votoms and Macross F ought to have some great animations. Of course, for the reappearing units, the attacks seem pretty normal since it's been reused form SRWZ. Here's hoping to Rand and Setsuko appearing if there aren't any new banpresto originals

B★RS Promo 1. A shooter like The 3rd Birthday?

B★RS Promo 2
White ★ Rock Shooter? Still seems pretty cool design though. The Premium Box is sooo tempting to get... Pretty high profile seiyuu cast - Sakamoto Maaya, Sawashiro Miyuki, Nakahara Mai, Sugita Tomokazu, Hikasa Youko and Shimoda Asami. Animation is by ufotable? Sign me up right away!

Black ★ Rock Shooter The Game

Black ★ Rock Shooter The Game. I might get the Limited Edition set

Malicious PV4. A short game, but pretty damn awesome in my opinion

Seriously, music sounds a lot like the Resident Evil movie. especially the main menu song. A dead ringer for that red queen song in the RE movie. But it's a very good game, with great music and lighting

Malicious and Dead Nation

Playing Malicious and Dead Nation. Both are downloaded from Playstation Network. Malicious costs around 11 Singapore Dollars . Dead Nation is around 20 dollars. Malicious is action game where each stage you fight a boss and the minions, defeating the boss grants you the boss' powers. A short and small game but music is rather good
Dead Nation is a zombie survival game that somewhat feels similar to Left for Dead but still plays completely different. There's a solo campaign, co-op campaign (2 player mode) and online co-op. With online support, the game keeps track of your kills as well as each the total kill counts each country has. Singapore is currently ranked 29 out of 56 countries listed in the global ranking system

Anime for 2011

Shinonono Houki from Infinite Stratos. The tsundere childhood friend. Voiced by Hikasa Yoko (K-ON's Mio) who also sang the ending song. Let's see, our male protagonist is the only male capable of piloting an IS (Infinite Stratos) in a world where only females are able to use them. He goes to the IS academy where the story takes place. So battles with powered suits are a given. Saw the first two episodes, wasn't too bad. Battles scenes were done well, some seiyuus I recognised such as Hikasa, Yukana and Toyoguchi Megumi. Personally I'll be sure to continue watching it. Up next would be to try out Gosick and Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? Couldn't resist the urge to buy KoreZombie's light novel, I mean it's drawn by Kobuichi and Muririn and the plot seems rather interesting. Genius Masou Shoujo, Expressionless and silent necromancer, Vampire ninja are the main females staying with him, a zombie.

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka promo

GOSICK promo. Gothic lolita Sherlock Holmes anyone?

Infinite Stratos promo

Hidan no Aria promo. Artwork is Kobuichi/Muririn? Eagerly awaiting this. From what I've read, it seems the director is the one who was involved in Shana and the seiyuu for Aria is Kugimiya Rie herself, Shana's seiyuu

New Games!

WooHoo! New Alicesoft game. Daiteikoku from the name should follow in the footsteps on Daiakuji and Daibanchou. Release date is currently April 28 if I remember it correctly

Dissdia 012. Playable Yuna lol

SRW Z 2? For PSP? GURREN LAGANN??? Gundam 00 and Code Geass? Ah man, no Full Metal Panic for a console version? I think FMP will fit well with Geass, like what happended in Another Century's Episode R. The big question is how BROKEN will Gurren be? Can you use SP for the sub pilots?
Sangoku Musou 7 screens. I think it shouldn't do that badly... sales-wise

Sangoku Musou 7's Sun Shang Xiang. Hmm, can't say whether I like the new design or not, but I think it's better than her costume in 6

Sangoku Musou 7's Yue Ying. Back to the using the spear/haldberd. Can't say I like the new design

Too many games, not enough time

Let's see... Agarest Senki 1 - stuck at 3rd generation, Agarest Senki Zero - start of 2nd generation, Agarest Senki 2 untouched. There are still games that needs clearing for a 2nd time, Tales of Vesperia, Ar Tonelico 3. For the time being I've finished Tales of Graces F and started with my 2nd playthrough. Haha, damage x 5, critical x 2 and exp x 5 ought to make a fast and dangerous round
Graces F without a doubt has my vote for best Tales battle system. The Style Shift LMBS (linear motion battle system) means each character has 2 styles of fighting. Asbel can fight with his sword sheathed or drawn, Hubert can either use his double sword or dual guns. Around Step makes battles faster paced, instead of just attacking from the front, you sidestep and evade the attack, move to the enemy's back and backstab. Unlike the Wii version, Graces F is in HD with better and clearer graphics, an after story scenario with downloadable contents (No Miku costume for asia PSN it seems)

Watched Nanoha The Movie 1st. That was a great 2 hours! As a fan of the Nanoha series (I missed Strikers though) a remake of the original Nanoha season 1 was too good to pass up. With a slightly modified story, slight changes in the barrier jacket design and better animated aerial magical battles that can make other animes pale in comparison (the movie version of Starlight Breaker literally had enough power to blow up a city, and Nanoha is just 9 years old) Here's to hoping Nanoha the Movie 2nd will be just as awesome. A final note, Fate's final scene with Nanoha was so lovey-dovey.

Anime MM! Mio-sempai is just adorable even with her super S aura. Lots of laughs but story was pretty poor, and the lack of character development didn't help. Seiyuus Taketsuna Ayana and Fukuyama Jun saved the series for me.

Eroge Sangoku Hime. After Sengoku Hime, the makers probably realized that they weren't content with gender bending the Sengoku generals so they went bended the three kingdoms generals. While it's been done before (cough cough Koihime Musou) I didn't really enjoy the slow pace of Sengoku Hime or the artstyle of the PC ver (The PSP was better but too much politics involved) Give me a Sengoku Rance system and I'd be more than happy

Tales of Xillia announced for the PS3. The game that celebrates the 15th anniversary of Tales of series. Male lead seems to be drawn by Fujishima Kosuke and female lead is drawn by Inomata Mutsumi. Trailer on the main side doesn't exactly look that interesting yet but I'll give it time

A new Queen's Blade game featuring some other game girls like KOF's Mai, Alice, GG's Dizzy, Samurai Showdown's Cham Cham and Mina, Tekken's Lili

MMOs

Finally a new trailer for Blade & Soul. Still looks pretty darn good if I must say. A new class Assassin is shown as well as new things regarding the other classes

TERA The Exiled Realm of Arborea, another Korean MMO. I swear the Koreans make real nice looking games, whether it's the characters, the the weapons or armor. The only problem is the number of hours you have to invest in levelling

Playing Record of Agarest War now, it does show its age graphically but the character artwork is beautiful (usually the girls), battle system is typical of Idea Factory so gamers who have played Spectral Souls etc should feel right at home.
